Design of the 1 KG Minted Valcambi Silver Bar

The front of each bar features the Valcambi logo at the top. Beneath the logo are the bar's weight of 1 kg, the words 'fine silver', and the bar's fineness, of 999. Beneath this is the brand's hallmark, and finally the bar's serial number. These bars are sold with a separate certificate.

The reverse of the bar features a large image of the Valcambi logo, with the words 'Valcambi Suisse'.

Investing in Valcambi Silver

Valcambi is one of Switzerland's four most prominent precious metals refineries. The refinery was launched in the 1960 by two prominent Swiss businessmen. The company is headquartered in Ticino, the Italian section of Switzerland. Since its lauch, Valcambi has grown to be at the forefront of the industry with its reputation for excellence. Valcambi produces precious metals bars in a range of shapes and sizes, from 1 gram to 1 kilo, in gold, silver, platinum and palladium.

Valcambi also produce all the gold and silver bars on behalf of Credit Suisse, one of Switzerland's largest banks. This is because in the 1980s, Valcambi was wholly acquired by the Swiss bank, who at the time was expanding into the bullion market. During that period, Valcambi began to manufacture a range of bullion bars on behalf of the private bank. Today, Valcambi is no longer owned by Credit Suisse, yet the refinery continues to manufacture gold, silver, platinum and palladium bars on behalf of the bank.
