The coins celebrate the Chinese lunar calendar, and each year the design of the coin is updated in line with the current Chinese lunar animal. 2021-2022 marks the Year of the Tiger. The Lunar Gold Year of the Tiger coin is available in a wide range of sizes, from 1/20 Ounce up to 10 Ounces. The most popular size is the 1 Ounce gold Tiger Coin.
The front of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse features an image of a Tiger standing on some rocks. Each 1/10 Ounce gold Lunar Tiger coin has a face value of 15 Australian Dollars. These coins contain 9999 fine gold bullion, making them some of the purest gold coins available on the market.
