Design of the 2023 Silver Perth Mint Kangaroo Coin.
The Kangaroo Silver Bullion coin is issued annually by the Perth Mint in Australia. The coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front. Around the coins are the words 'Elizabeth II' and 'Australia', and the coin's face value, which is $1 AUD. The reverse side of the Kangaroo coin features an image of a Red Kangaroo hopping. The top of the coin says 'Australian Kangaroo', while the bottom states the coin's purity, face value, and year of minting.
The silver Kangaroo coin was first released in 2016, although the coin was first available in gold in 1986. A platinum Kangaroo coin is also available.
