The Isle of Man platinum Noble was first introduced into the precious metals market in 1983.
The coin is available in 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz and 1 oz sizes.
The most popular sized platinum Noble among investors is the 1 ounce coin.
The front of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse of the coin features an image of the Viking ship, Thusly. The coin was in production from 1983 - 1989, and was produced by the Popjoy Mint in Surrey, England.
The Isle of Man Noble platinum coin is no longer produced, and therefore all coins sold are currently in circulated condition.
These coins carry a slightly higher premium over the platinum price, due to the fact that they are no longer in production and are therefore less common.
