The Chinese Panda coins are produced by the official mint of China.
The coins were initially introduced in 1982, in ounce denominations, however, in 2016 the Chinese Pandas were introduced in gram denominations instead. The 2017 Chinese Panda gold coins are available in 1 gram, 3 gram, 8 gram, 15 gram and 30 gram sizes.
The Chinese mint also makes a 30 gram Panda silver coin.
The 2017 gold Panda features an image of the Temple of Heaven on the front, with the year of minting at the bottom.
The reverse of the coin features an image of a Panda eating bamboo.
