Mexican Libertad 999+ Fine Silver Bullion Coins

The Mexican Libertad silver coin is produced by the Mexican Mint. Each coin contains 999 fine investment grade silver bullion. The silver Libertad coin was first released in 1982, and has been in circulation since then. The Libertad silver series is available in a number of sizes, including 1/2 Ounce, 1 Ounce, 5 Ounce, 10 Ounce and 1 Kilogram coins, however the most common and popular is the one ounce silver Libertad.
The silver Libertad features an image of a winged Victoria on the front. The Mexican landscape with several of Mexico's most famous volcanoes is in the background.
The reverse of the coin features Mexico's current coat of arms in the center, with older versions of the coat of arms surrounding it.
Each coin comes in a plastic slip. Orders of 20 coins or more are dispatched in a plastic tube.
The Mexican Libertad coin is available in both gold and silver. Mexico also sell the 50 Peso Mexican gold coin, which is 37.5 grams of gold bullion. This coin is only available in gold.
