Each 2022 Monster Box of silver Krugerrands features a dark grey plastic box that is issued by the Rand Refinery in South Africa. Inside each box are 20 plastic tubes of silver Krugerrands. Each tube contains 25 coins.
Design of the 2022 Silver Krugerrand Coin
Each Krugerrand coin features an image of Paul Kruger, who was the first president of South Africa, on the front of the coin. At the top of each coin the word ‘South Africa’ is written in English and in Afrikaans. The reverse side of each coin features an image of a South African Springbok, the official animal of South Africa, on the reverse side. Each coin also features its face value of 1 Rand, its year of minting, 2022 and the words ‘fine silver’ in English and Afrikaans.
The design of the silver Krugerrand coin is the same as the platinum and gold Krugerrand coins, and the design remains the same on each annual release. The only information that is update is the year of minting.
