Design of the 2024 1 Kilogram Noah's Ark Silver Coin
The Noah's Ark silver coin was first released in 2011, and 2024 is the 13th year of release. The obverse of each coin depicts Noah's Ark navigating the seas, set against Mount Ararat and a rising sun. A dove with a branch, a symbol of peace, is also featured. The coin's edge bears the words 'Noah's Ark' in English and Armenian.
The reverse side of the coin showcases Armenia's coat of arms, with a central shield supported by a lion and an eagle. Surrounding this are the inscriptions 'Republic of Armenia' in English and Armenian, the coin’s weight (1 Kilogram), and its 999 silver purity. The minting year, 2024, and the denomination of 10000 Dram are also displayed at the bottom.
