Buying Silver Philharmonics in Monster Boxes (Wholesale)
The silver monster box of philharmonics is an excellent option for investors looking to buy silver coins in larger quantities. The boxes are issued directly from the Austrian Mint (Munze Osterriech), and each box features 25 tubes of 20 coins each. Coins may be easily stored when purchased in monster boxes, but they also have the added benefit of being able to be sold off incrementally, which allows an investor better control of his portfolio.
The Austrian Mint is most famous for its annual release of the Philharmonic coin series. This is the official bullion coin series of Austria, and it is the only official bullion coin that is widely circulated which is denominated in Euros. The Philharmonic coin was first released in 1996 in gold, followed by the silver philharmonic in 2006, and the platinum Philharmonic following in 2016. The silver philharmonic coin is only available in the 1 ounce size.
In addition to the Philharmonic coin series, the Austrian Mint also manufactures a number of bullion bars in gold and silver. Its most famous are its Kinebars, which are available in smaller sizes in gold only.
