About the American Eagle Silver Coin Series - 2024 Edition
The 2024 American Eagle silver coin continues to feature the design that was first released in the 2021 edition coin, which was designed by Emily Damstra and Michael Gaudioso. The series, which was first released in 1986, commemorated its 35th year in 2021. Each coin features Lady Liberty walking with the sun rising in the distance. Draped in an American flag and bearing olive branches in her embrace, her silhouette is crowned by the inscription 'Liberty'. The coin's reverse side features a majestic Bald Eagle soaring with twigs clenched in its talons, with the words 'United States of America' inscribed at the top.
Each coin has a purity of 999, and has a face value of $1 USD, which is guaranteed by the government of the United States.
