The Noah's Ark silver bullion coin was first introduced in 2011, making the 2026 issue the coin’s 16th year of production. Each coin depicts Noah’s boat resting in the water, with the sun rising over Mount Ararat in the background. A dove carrying an olive branch soars above the ark, symbolizing peace and renewal. Surrounding the design are the inscriptions “Noah’s Ark” in both English and Armenian.
The reverse side of the coin displays the official Armenian coat of arms. At its center, a shield features Mount Ararat, supported by a lion on one side and an eagle on the other—the lion facing east and the eagle west. Below the emblem is the coin’s face value of 500 Dram, along with its year of issue, 2026. The coin’s purity of .999 fine silver and weight of 1 ounce are inscribed beside the coat of arms. The outer edge bears the inscription “Republic of Armenia” in both English and Armenian.
The 2026 silver 1 oz Noah’s Ark coin is available individually, in tubes of 20 coins, and in monster boxes of 500 coins (containing 25 tubes).
